Founded by Blondey McCoy, THAMES MMXX draws its roots from the board walls and scribbled-on ceilings of London's Slam City Skates, the shop that first turned a 12-year-old's GCSE art project into a brand. After a formative chapter partnering with Palace Skateboards, THAMES relaunched in 2019 as something more deliberate: a vehicle to connect with people, to keep the creative wheels turning, and to represent British skateboarding without cliché.

The philosophy borrows a line from Vivienne Westwood, that after punk burned out, the most subversive thing a man could wear was a suit and tie. THAMES takes that same contrarian elegance and applies it to skatewear: classic silhouettes, sharp tailoring instincts, and an unmistakably English sensibility, built for the street as much as the boardroom.
