Originally conceived as a GCSE art project in 2012, THAMES MMXX is the creative vision of South London skateboarder, artist and designer Blondey McCoy. After an early chapter alongside Palace Skateboards, McCoy relaunched the brand independently in 2019 as THAMES MMXX, taking full creative control and infusing it with his own distinctly British influences rooted in classicism, tailoring, London skate culture and fine art.

THAMES MMXX occupies a genuinely unique space in skateboarding, combining cricket sweaters, pastel polos and fine jewellery with graphic tees and skateboard decks in a way that reflects McCoy's wide-ranging creative world. Collaborations with the Francis Bacon Estate, the Pet Shop Boys and adidas reflect a brand that moves freely between skate, fashion and fine art. The skate team includes Ludvig Hakansson, Jarrad Carlin, Kai Etheridge and Gabriel Summers, keeping the brand's skating credentials firmly intact.
