Cliche Camera Deck Jeremie Daclin

Cliché Skateboards was founded in 1997 by French skateboarder and entrepreneur Jeremie Daclin in Lyon, France. Starting with a small team and a distinctly European identity, Cliché helped establish a stronger presence for European skateboarding at a time when the industry was dominated by American brands. The brand quickly built its reputation through its team, distinctive graphics and a series of influential skate videos.

Cliché's output expanded beyond its original Lyon roots as the team grew to include riders from across Europe and beyond. Videos such as Bon Appétit, Freedom Fries and Gypsy Life documented the progression of the team and helped define Cliché's place in skateboarding during the 2000s and 2010s.

After more than two decades, Cliché remains an important part of European skateboarding history, with its legacy tied to the riders, videos and creative direction that helped put European skateboarding on the international map.
