Founded in 2008 by professional skateboarder Paul Rodriguez, Primitive Skateboarding was created to give Rodriguez greater control over his career while building a brand around his own vision for skateboarding. What started as a small project has grown into an established skate brand known for its detailed graphics, board shapes and strong team of technical skaters.
With riders including Wade Desarmo, JB Gillet, Franky Villani and Brian Peacock, Primitive has built a reputation for high-level skateboarding and creative collaborations. The brand is also known for its licensed graphics and collections inspired by series including Dragon Ball Z, Naruto and Rick and Morty.
