Founded in 1978 by George Powell and Stacy Peralta, Powell-Peralta is one of the defining American skate brands of the 1980s. The brand helped shape modern skateboarding through its approach to board design, wheels and pro models, while the legendary Bones Brigade team became a defining force in skateboarding.

Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, Rodney Mullen, Mike McGill and Lance Mountain were among the riders who helped put Powell-Peralta at the forefront of skateboarding, pushing the progression of both vert and street skating.

Today, Powell-Peralta continues to produce skateboard decks, wheels, bearings and accessories alongside classic reissues and updated versions of some of its most iconic designs.
