In the summer of 2010, two brothers built a bespoke garment workshop in the western suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. The productive garage space formed a neighbourhood culture where friends, skaters, and local creatives would work tirelessly to transform colour-ways of a generation into wearable pieces of art. This inner circle of aspiring garment technicians came to become the core that made up Ichpig. The brand's identity remained anonymous with all crew members sporting balaclava ski masks with each and every customer interaction.

The anonymity gave early supporters of the brand a collective voice, as Ichpig soon emerged as a counter culture for devoted youths wanting more say over the garments they backed. Through community feedback driven design and an emphasis on sustainable local manufacturing, Ichpig established an in-house movement that challenged the mainstream clothing industry at large. Whilst it was built from a relentless DIY work ethic, Ichpig has now evolved into a brand known for its quality, comfort, and fit. Today Ichpig is growing from its humble neighbourhood beginnings into a global community.
