From the minds of former Baker pro’s Jim Greco and Erik Ellington, Deathwish began in 2008 under the Baker Boys umbrella. From the get-go, Deathwish gained malignant popularity through the feature film “Baker Has A Deathwish”, which features a stand out part from distinguished professional Antwuan Dixon.

The brand draws inspiration from 70s cult movies, kitsch magazine cover artwork and hair metal record sleeves. Fast Times friend and fellow Australian Jake Hayes joined the pro ranks for Deathwish in 2017, which had him skating alongside the likes of Jon Dickson, Lizard King and Jamie Foy, who coincidentally earned Thrasher Magazine's Skater Of The Year award in the same year.
