Call Me 917 Devil Dad Deck Blue
The world of skate culture and fashion is rapidly becoming intertwined and one man at the forefront of this transition is professional skateboarder, DJ and founder of Call Me 917, Mr Alex Olsen. Alex was introduced into the world of skateboarding by his father Steve Olsen, but in his later years became frustrated with the state of the industry and decided to take things into his own hands. In 2014, the phone number (917) 692-2706 was used as a hotline for Alex’s first endeavour Bianca Chandon, which quickly became recognised by the high end fashion world and was even seen worn by the likes of Kanye West and Justin Beiber. With the rapid rise of Bianca, Alex wanted to create a core skate brand, something he could support his friends with whilst not taking things too seriously. Soon after, Call Me 917 was born. Often shortened to 917, their graphics often pay respect to skateboardings rich heritage whilst maintaining a style that is current, innovative and cultivates the essence of street skateboarding.
