Founded in 2008 by childhood friends and skateboarders Garth Mariano and Matt Evans in Perth, Western Australia, Butter Goods was born out of a frustration with the lack of authentic skate brands in Australia. The duo quit their day jobs, studied graphic design, and built something that reflected what they actually cared about: skating, jazz, hip hop, and underground culture. What started as a small run of tees has grown into one of the most globally recognised skate-influenced streetwear brands to come out of Australia.

Butter Goods sits where skateboarding and music collide, drawing on jazz culture, vintage graphics, and counterculture references to produce clothing that feels genuinely distinct from mainstream streetwear. Collaborations with the likes of Miles Davis, Blue Note Records, Peanuts, and Umbro speak to a brand with real cultural range, while their premium cut-and-sew garments keep quality front and centre.
