Blind Skateboards was founded in 1989 by legendary skateboarder Mark Gonzales under Steve Rocco's World Industries distribution company. The brand quickly became a major force in the rise of street skating, with Gonzales' creative direction and an influential team helping shape a new era of skateboarding.
Blind's 1991 video Video Days is one of the most celebrated skate films of its era, featuring Gonzales, Guy Mariano, Jason Lee and Rudy Johnson among others. Followed by projects including Tim and Henry's Pack of Lies, Blind established a distinctive identity through its raw skating, memorable graphics and unconventional approach to the culture.
