Alexis Sablone for Converse CONS
Celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community, Alexis blessed us with yet another stylish colourway for Cons.
Whether she’s on the board, behind the computer or in her studio, Alexis Sablone has been putting in work since her debut part in PJ Ladds Wonderful Horrible Life in 2002. At the youthful age of 16, Alexis unknowingly inspired a whole generation of skateboarders around the world.
Now at age 34, Alexis has accomplished more than most. She has multiple degrees in architecture, turned pro twice, designed decks for WKND, won numerous competitions and impressed us all with her impeccable style, power and flick.
With a bucket list of achievements, you would think Alexis would take some time off to chill...Apparently not. She’s back at it with yet another beautiful shoe for Converse.
The JP Pro Mid Pride Colourway celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community with intricate rainbow details whilst offering a clean, comfortable and durable shoe that anyone can wear.
As we enter Pride Month, it is important for us to mention how vital inclusivity for the LGBTQIA+ within the skate community is. If you see or hear any homophobic slurs or negative comments, please call that person out. We have no room for this in the skate community. If you’re rolling on four wheels, we’re family!!!
